Casa Chacinera Museum

This especial ethnographic museum is located in an old pig-meat industry house from the early 20th century. It is focused on the main economical activity of the village, the pig-meat industry, which made the place famous in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The museum shows a typical house from Candelario, with such especial items as the “regaderas” or “batipuertas”. The three floors of the house are decorated with many cultural items. There are also some audiovisual resources and dramatized performances about the pig-meat industry and the traditional life of the village.
